Message from the Pastor . . .

            God has gifted each of us in wonderfully unique ways because He loves us and because He loves the world (John 3:16).  The skills and resources He has entrusted to us not only bless us abundantly, but as we exercise stewardship of them, managing and investing them in the lives of others as God directs, they also can become Kingdom blessings. If we are Called to Serve With All Our Gifts, how will that fact make a difference in your life and in your church in the upcoming year? 

            This stewardship brochure attempts to answer that question as it provides a summary of the many ministries of our church.  As we look to 2010, our key goals as a growing and vibrant church are:

Worship – To engage the hearts of young and old in the power, mystery and beauty of God in Christ Sunday by Sunday;

Mission & Outreach – To provide face to face participation and partnership with    Christian work beyond our walls;

Spiritual Growth – To stretch both mind and soul into life-changing experience in Christ through small groups, lectures, retreats, and seminars; and,

Building for Our Future – To build relationships of trust and commitment through   ministries to children, youth, couples, and families.

            The ability to achieve our church dreams and ministry goals for 2010 depends on each and every one of us contributing to this 2010 Stewardship Campaign. In 2009, over one-third of our members did not make a stewardship pledge.  We depend on a range of gifts where each one of them, large or small, makes a big difference.  How does your giving reflect your belief that we are CALLED TO SERVE WITH ALL OUR GIFTS?
