Caring Ministries

Central to our church's "DNA" is attentive and thoughtful pastoral care for members of our church and our community. Care of souls is of the highest priority for all four of our pastors and for the Counseling Center we host. The Counseling Center is staffed full time by Dr. Tim Engelmann, a licensed clinical psychologist who is particularly known for work with adolescent people and their families, and by his wife Rev. Dr. Kim Engelmann, a local Presbyterian pastor who is also an author and who specializes in spiritual direction and working with addiction issues.

These two counselors can be reached by leaving a message at 342-3118, ext. 310 for Tim or ext. 306 for Kim. They are working with our pastors to develop several new forms of pastoral care and counseling for the needs of this community. We rejoice in the exceptional place God has put our church in augmenting our pastor's strengths with the Christian hearts and minds of these two renowned therapists.

Grief Support Group

This is an on-going drop-in group which requires no registration and is at no cost. It is facilitated by Deacon Joanne Becker & Pat Carlson, certified marriage and family therapists.
