Our
music ministry department offers this unique opportunity for string
instrument instruction. Although primarily education oriented, the
Saintly Strings Ensemble will also have opportunities to play in
worship and at special events. Our
Saintly
Strings Ensemble is led by Karen Chan. She has taught violin for over
15 years
providing instruction for beginning, intermediate and advanced
levels.
Her
approach to
teaching is to make violin playing a fun and enjoyable
experience. It is her goal to provide students a solid technical
and musical foundation so
they have the ability to develop and explore their inner musical
creativity and
expression. Above all else, she would like each student to develop an
understanding, appreciation, and love for music.
Every
student is
given solo and group performance opportunities throughout the year to
develop
their performance skills.
All
ages and
levels are welcome to inquire for lessons.
