Descriptions of our Worship Services

 8:15 a.m. - Chapel service

Because we gather in the Chapel, the original church building on this site, our earliest service feels a bit like worship in a small church community. This short, intimate, traditional-styled worship is led by the morning’s preaching pastor and church organist.

(Entrance to the chapel is on Balboa Ave., or through Fellowship Hall)

9:30 a.m. - Contemporary-styled Family service. (Sanctuary)

Many in our congregation enjoy worshiping in a more contemporary-styled experience. For us this means a more creative free-flowing structure, contemporary praise music led by the Simply Spirit Praise Band and generally just a more casual atmosphere. Christian Education is available for children during this service.

11:00 a.m. – Traditional-styled Choral service (Sanctuary)

Many in our congregation enjoy a more traditional-styled experience. For us this means beautiful modern Reformed liturgy, hymns and choral music led by the Chancel Choir with pipe organ, and a special awareness of the Christian liturgical year.

During the summer we switch to just one blended service at 10:00 a.m. in our Sanctuary

 Do I have to choose?

Of course, not! That’s the beauty of it. Sunday morning is one great day of praise and worship whatever favor you choose that day. Come to one, two or three. Mix it up and never come to the same one two Sundays in a row. Wherever God directs you to worship we are all part of the body of Christ.

 See you in church.
