Church
Greeters Ministry How great it would be if all of us could develop a new-face mindset, seeking to introduce ourselves to those we don’t recognize. Research shows that most visitors decide if they want to return to a church within the first four to eight minutes (or from the parking lot to the pew). People are looking for a smiling and welcoming face. Let’s encourage our church officers and the Evangelism Committee members in their efforts to welcome the newcomer and don’t forget that all of us have our part to play in being hospitable to our guests. We should remember what Jesus said to his disciples, “When I was a stranger, you welcomed Me, (Matthew 25:38) and the apostle Paul reminds us to, “Extend hospitality to strangers," (Rom. 12:13b).
