On
a Pastoral note...
Prayer
has been a unifying theme for our church
these past six weeks, and I wonder if you have begun to feel more
powerful? Prayer has the power to change things like injustice,
cruelty,
secularism, and other human based evils. Let’s keep praying
faithfully and
see if the results don’t begin to show up around us! ~Pastor Paul Watermulder
Annual Meeting - Sunday, Feb 26
Our annual congregational meeting will be Sunday, February 26 at 12:15
in our Fellowship Hall. Free lunch will be provided to all. The program
includes a brief musical presentation, slides showing church life from
this past year, and reports from our Pastor and several elders. We will
elect our new church officers, and also review our past and upcoming
years' finances. You are invited and encouraged to come to this
wonderful gathering of your church as the living Body of Christ!

30 Hour Famine ~ Feb. 24-25
In solidarity
with the
hungry of our world, our youth ministry is participating in World
Vision’s 30
Hour Famine. We’re going without food for 30 hours in order to
experience
hunger and raise money on behalf of World Vision. Here’s
how you can help: Pray. Practice a
prayerful awareness on behalf of our church’s youth before and
during the
Famine. Even more, use prayerful awareness to engage the global huger
crisis
and those who will miss a meal today. Volunteer. Become a
partner in doing a ‘justice mission’ with a group from
FPCB. Give. Sponsor a
teenager doing the Famine for $1 per hour. Every $30 raised feeds
a child
for one month.
