“I
will show you what someone is like who comes to me, hears my words and acts on
them. That one is like a man building a
house who dug deeply and laid the foundation on rock when a flood arose, the
river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well
built.” Luke 6: 48

On a Pastoral note...
Today is World Communion
Sunday, an annual celebration of the sacrament by tens of thousands of churches
around the globe. Christianity is
growing fastest in the Southern Hemisphere and in China. Especially pray today for our sisters and
brothers in those places in which our church has particular interest: Cameroon,
Honduras, Mexico, New Orleans
and China.

Did You Miss
Christian Expression?
This year, in a effort to more effectively
emphasize the importance of “hands-on” mission along with trying to alleviate
the “over-programming” stress of the holidays, the Mission Commission has
changed “Christmas Expressions” to “Christian Expressions".
You can accomplish some very meaningful gift
giving in the form of commemorative cards supporting our Mission partners. The cards can be used for general gifts as
well as holiday and birthday gift giving.
