FPCB Summer Camp
June 19-July 27
Join us for 5 weeks of fun from
June 18th-July 27th (Camp closed July 2nd-6th for 4th of July Holiday). Each
week has a different theme and at least one field trip to go along with
the weekly theme.
Camp themes this summer include:
Art Studio “Learn From the Masters” , Animal Science, Build
It!, Arts and Crafts Galore, and Surprise Week!

On
a Pastoral note...
Mother’s
Day always reminds
me of the images the scriptures use of God as mother, such as God being
like “a
mother hen who gathers her chicks to herself.” It also
reminds me how the
Apostle Paul noted that “the church is our mother,” in
whose earthly care God
means us to be entrusted. May we celebrate all mothers on
Mother’s Day! ~Pastor

We have many volunteer needs for this
onsite mission outreach to families in need from our community. Please
contact Sharon Bartels at 343-2038 or bartels@smccd.edu if you are
interested in volunteering to help host our families, cook a meal, or
be an overnight host.

Amor Mission Trip
July 22-July 28
Pastor Henry Hansen and
Youth Directors Noah Starksen and Ray Medina look forward to leading
our
church's annual intergenerational mission trip to San Carlos, AZ to
assist Amor
Ministries in building homes at an Apache Indian Reservation. Persons
entering
into the 9th grade on up are invited to participate. Our first trip
meeting
will be on Sunday, May 6 at 12:15 p.m. in CMC204. Click here for more informaion.
